PHILANTHROPIC FOCUS
ZII HAS A LONG-STANDING COMMITMENT TO SUPPORTING THE GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICAN-AMERICAN YOUTH IN THE DELAWARE VALLEY THROUGH PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDING ITS ANNUAL HERVIE BLYTHER MEMORIAL HBCU TOUR, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM.

The ZII Foundation ("the Foundation") relentlessly invests in the Philadelphia-area African-American community. We do so directly to noteworthy community causes and in partnership with the Zeta Iota Iota (ZII) Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. through its 3 branded community-facing program platforms: ZII Youth Education & Development, ZII Health and ZII Social Action.
We believe that transparency about how Foundation funds are raised and spent is key for long-term partnerships with our sponsors and donors based on trust.

ZII FUNDRAISING EVENTS (#ZIIEvents)
ZII raises funds for the Foundation via sales from fundraising events conducted exclusively by the chapter or in collaboration with other chapters (branded as ZII Events). These fundraising events are predominantly mature, responsible social events of various sizes ("parties with a purpose") in the Philadelphia metropolitan area to create awareness of and financial support for the community causes invested in by the Foundation. True to their "party with a purpose" motto, all fundraising event proceeds go to the Foundation. The net result is a proven annual funding source for the ZII Foundation to subsequently invest in ZII Youth Education & Development, ZII Health and ZII Social Action programs as well as other noteworthy non-ZII community causes.

SPONSORS & DONORS
The Foundation also seeks funding from donations and support from sponsors, corporate/organizational donors, individual donors, and other foundations.
